How does TuScribe work?
You upload your audio or video file, we generate a free preview of the first 3–5 minutes, and we show you the full price before you pay. If the result works for you, you make a one-time payment and get the full transcription with downloadable formats.
How much does a transcription cost?
The price is calculated from the total duration of the file. The base rate is €0.08 per minute, with a minimum purchase of €2.49. You will see the exact price before paying.
Do I need a subscription?
No. TuScribe uses one-time payments per file. There is no subscription, automatic renewal or monthly charge.
What does a full transcription include?
It includes the full transcription with timestamps, downloads in TXT and DOCX, subtitles in SRT and VTT, and the option to generate a short summary when you need it.
What formats can I download?
You can download TXT and DOCX to work with the text, and SRT and VTT for subtitles. The most useful format depends on how you want to use the result.
How do I generate the short summary?
When the full transcription is ready, open the “Short summary” tab and click “Generate short summary”. The summary is included in your purchase and does not require an additional payment.
Does the short summary cost extra?
No. The short summary is included in the full transcription purchase. It is generated only when you request it.
Can I download subtitles and text from the same file?
Yes. A single purchase can include both text formats and subtitle formats. You can download TXT, DOCX, SRT and VTT from the results page.
What languages can you transcribe?
TuScribe is designed to work in Spanish and also supports other available languages. During upload, you can select the language of the audio or use automatic detection if available.
Can I change the language after seeing the preview?
Yes. If the preview uses the wrong language, you can change it and regenerate the preview before paying.
Can I get SRT and VTT subtitles?
Yes. SRT and VTT subtitles are included in the full transcription when the file has enough timestamp information to generate them.
Can I edit the transcription?
Yes. On the results page, you can review the text and correct fragments if names, terms or words need adjustment.
What happens if some words are unclear?
If we detect low-confidence fragments, we will mark them so you can review them. You can jump between them, listen to the related audio and edit the text if needed.
What file formats do you accept?
We accept common audio and video formats such as MP3, MP4, WAV, M4A and MOV. Size and duration limits will be shown in the upload area.
How long does it take to transcribe my file?
It depends on the file duration and system load. After payment, you will see progress on the page and also receive an email link to return to the result.
Where are my files stored?
Your files are processed privately and are not published. Exact storage, location and retention details are described in the privacy policy.
How long do you keep my files and transcriptions?
Files and results are kept for the period stated in the storage policy. You can delete them earlier from the results page.
Can I delete my files and results?
Yes. You can delete your files and results from the relevant page when you no longer need them.
Do I need an account to transcribe?
You do not need to create an account before reviewing the preview. To pay and access the result, we will ask for an email address, used for the receipt and backup access.
How do I download my result again?
You can open your result from the “My transcriptions” page or from the access link sent by email. If the link expires, you can request a new one if the result is still available.
Can I upload recordings of other people?
You must have the right to upload and process the file. If the recording includes other people, make sure you comply with applicable rules and have the necessary permissions when required.
What happens if the transcription fails or has poor quality?
If a paid file fails or the result is incomplete, contact support so we can review the case. If the error is on our side, we will apply the appropriate solution according to the refund or credit policy.
What payment methods do you accept?
Available payment methods will be shown on the checkout screen. Payment is one-time and does not create a subscription.
Can I transcribe YouTube videos?
Direct import from YouTube is not available yet. For now, you can upload a file from your device or use a compatible direct link if the beta feature is enabled.
